The Freeze theme is a 3rd party Genesis Framework theme that is a free theme. This theme is minimal, so I would certainly try to add a few extra customizations to spice it up a little. You can find a lot more tips to customizing your theme on the official StudioPress community forum. Getting back to the Freeze theme, the homepage is sporting 3 columns but you can always change that.
I’d rather use a 2 column look as that is the usual blogging standard. Not much else to explain about this theme but consider it a blank canvas for you to turn into something amazing. It costs nothing but you still need to purchase the Genesis Framework which is not expensive.
On to the Freeze theme features:
Freeze Features
- Responsive Design
- 6 Different Layouts

Below is a preview of these special admin features that is located under your “Genesis” settings tab. Note that the features in the image below vary from theme to theme by this developer.
On the bright side, you get a landing page to totally design and use for anything that you want to. Here is the full page ad.
Very Important!
Please keep in mind that you will need to have the Genesis Framework already installed on your blog. The cost of the framework is $59.95. This will get you a lifetime membership and free updates for the framework, which is an awesome deal.
If you are a developer, you know you can customize these themes on your own for your clients and add more money to your packaged deals. The Pro Plus StudioPress package is perfect for professional bloggers and developers. Check out the details below.
