The Liana theme is a 3rd party Genesis Framework theme created for Feminine bloggers who have something to sell. This is a shop theme but can be running as a regular blog if you do not install the WooCommerce plugin. Images are prevalent all over the homepage and are the focus of this theme. Be sure to edit your pictures before you upload them. Liana comes with a sticky menu bar that includes social media follow links, a logo aligned to the left and a drop down arrow indicator for the sub-menus. Right below this bar is a huge rectangle widget that is best used for a responsive slider. You can link the images to their respective home or just have a gallery of pictures helping hype up your shop area.
Under this slider widget will be the latest blog posts in a grid-like format with the blog post’s featured images aligned to the left and right. Nice job on showcasing the latest blog posts on the homepage. You can actually add a gallery in the footer area. Moving along to the shop area where you can make your money, the shop area itself just looks too minimal and doesn’t give me that wow factor. Overall a good theme for feminine bloggers.
Here are the basic Liana features:
Liana Features
- Responsive on mobile devices
- Menu bar with social media icons, search buttons, and logo
- Upload your own background
- Primary and secondary menu bar
- Customizable theme color to match your brand

On the blog post area, the side column is showing on the left-hand side but I like the side column on the right side. It’s my pet peeve.
