The Mins & Gens theme is a 3rd party Genesis Framework theme created for the Photography industry. This theme is completely black and white until you place your mouse over an image, causing the image to change to its natural color and really stand out. This theme is perfect for photography or travel sites. The top of the homepage has a customizable menu bar that is parallel with your social media links. Directly below this is a large space for your logo image. If you need help with creating a large and memorable logo, Logo Nerds is the way to go.
The second navigation bar is located under the logo image, allowing you to showcase important posts and pages. The very next homepage feature that I enjoy is the custom authoresponder box. It is in a prime location to collect those emails. Next, you have a widget with two side by side blocks to display pages, which is a fantastic idea. You can use this space to link to your About Us or equipment page. Get creative in how you display content on the homepage. There is a side bar and of course footer widgets to display more information. You get a lot of built-in features with this theme. With clean code and an SEO friendly design, the Mins & Gens theme is irresistible.

Hi Derek,
This was a very nice and informative article.
I have a question in my mind. Would be kind enough to let me know how important is graphic representations on our website important, does it really bring the impact which we are looking forward to from our readers. Does the latest GIF trend also provide the same impact. Here, by impact I am referring to the readability and capturing the interest of the viewers of the website/blog.
I have a website which covers the latest cultural happenings in my area.
Thank You Derek for your time.
Have wonderful day.
