When it comes to making money online, there are endless methods. You can useGoogle AdSense, Sponsored Posts, Sell Ad Space, and so on. One affiliate program that I joined is residual income because it’s a yearly membership fee. As long as my referrals keep renewing their membership with Elegant Themes, I will make $44.50 per referral. This is a huge commission!
Picture this, I have 4 transactions already totaling $169 which I get every year. The more commissions I make, the more that figure goes up per year and this is only 1 affiliate program. I’m also a paying customer of Elegant Themes so I know their support is top notch, themes are amazing, and plugins viable.
97 visitors and 4 sales as of today.
Plugins I’ve already used
- A Taste Of The Ultimate Email Opt-In Plugin – Bloom
- How To Create A Side Bar Widget With Social Monarch Plugin
Let’s get to the actual affiliate program itself. The more you know, the more ideas you might have for profiting off this program. Elegant’s themes have over 30,000 affiliates. How would you like 50% per sale?
Signing up is fairly simple. The key thing to remember is that its required you list your website on the sign-up form. I suspect they will do a review to see if you have a quality blog with a decent theme and not a spam blog. It should be noted that PayPal is the only form of payment.
If you are in need of a theme, do search our blog for premium quality themes or buy one of Elegant’s Themes. After you created an affiliate account and it gets approved, you can now log in and be able to edit your account profile to use all the tools available to promote their themes and or plugins. Do check out their membership packages so you have an idea what a customer gets so you can promote it accurately
Elegant’s Marketing Materials
There are a lot of different banners for different things including multiple sizes. The images are made for blogs mostly. Feel free to create your own if you are a designer or just use the text link.
Ways To Promote
There are a lot of ways to promote their themes and or plugins. One such way is writing a review. Keep in mind, it’s best that you use the plugin and or the theme before writing the review. You will be able to give a good perspective on the initial set up, as well as the pros and cons to mention. Since I am a paying customer, I always test the product out for a few weeks before writing a review. This is my method for any affiliate program I promote online. This way if someone asks questions, I would be able to answer them or if I know a staff member has to address the question, I will mention this.
This affiliate program converts, I know this because I joined as a client a long time ago after reading an offer. It just took me some time to become an affiliate.
Add a banner in the side column of your blog or anywhere you think would be a good spot. Do this if you don’t want to write a detailed review. Let the homepage do the selling, just get clicks on the banner. Use a URL shortner to hide affiliate the link and share it on your social media accounts. As a matter of fact, save a banner image from your affiliate account and post that on Facebook with your cloaked affiliate link and 2 short sentences about the product. Get creative in your marketing.
Edit: Light Bulb Went Off
I forgot to mention that around the holidays and sometimes periodically during the year, Elegant Themes will send it’s affiliates special discount offers. With getting this offer, you can email your list with that coupon code and make sure your links in the email are affiliate links so you get that commission. My favorite time of the year is when then do these offers.
Let me know if you need anything.
Don’t forget to share this blog post with your followers if it’s helped you in any way.
Nice one sir
